Purple or black stain

soo [so] when its dry pollish [polish] your 
worke [work] with shorne [shorn] grass and ye [the] hard
plases [places] will appear white & ye [the] other
black then you may varnish itt [it] 
with spirit var. [varnish] as befor [before] direct
or doo [do] often over with lintseed oyle [linseed oil]
polising [polishing] over rubing [rubbing]    lintseed oyl varn [linseed oil varnish]
