Dimension granite was quarried in Burnet County by Texas Granite Corp. and
in Llano County by Premier Granite Quarries and Texas Crushed Stone Co. The
output was used as rough construction 
 
stone, dressed architectural stone, and dressed monumental stone. Crushed
granite, for use as riprap, was produced by one company in Burnet County.
