• View overlooking the New Glarus Lumber Company lumberyard and nearby houses. The photo looks toward the northwest edge of the village. At that time, the lumberyard was located where the Village Park is now located. The building with the stair-step facade just beyond the lumber office is where the Village Hall building now stands. This photo may have been taken in the 1920s or 1930s.
