Summary: Maple Grove School (remodeled)-Town of Hamburg, Marathon County, WI. According to the 1948 Marathon County Schools Map Maple Grove School was located in section 12, Township 30 N, Range 5 E. The first school was built of logs in about 1870 and was located on section 11, T30, R5E The second school was built in about 1904 on section 12, T30, R5E. According to the history A Centruy in Hamburg page 82, in " 1952, this school district along with District number 2 and 3 were added to the City of Merrill School System."
