                         Dear Aldo:

Thanks for your letter of November l7th

checking for us the status of the Delta funds.

I am enclosing herewith our check in

the amount of $60.00 v4hich is required to complete

our obligations as of December 31st.

We had a brief meeting of the Executive

Committee in New York last week. It was called in

pretty much of a hurry to consider plans for the

Conference, Wildlife Week, and the stamp sale.
Little else was accomplished as Senator Walcott

was leaving the next day for Europe.

We are planning another meeting shortly

after the first of the year but in the meantime
I
am trying to get some action through Mr. F. B. Davis,

Jr. in connection with the Delta project. He has

suggested a counter-proposal to Mr. Bell and, in

view of the fact that they are good friends, I have

asked him to approach Mr. Bell on the subject. I

hope we will yet be able to see this matter
                         settled.

                                    With best regards, I am
                                                           Sincerely,
