           Dear Aldo:

I have been going in circles and aa Just getting
down
to the serious Conference details. It is gratifying to knol, that
you are
going to handle the sunLaarization. This is a tremendous job and
we are
happy to 'now that the assigmaent is in good hands.

The Chairman of the General Session ' :ildlife
and
3usiness," vir. Edward . Allen of Seattle, was just in the
office and
I arranged with him to introduce you at the close of his session..
He
will terminate his prograAi promptly and wue will have at least
forty-
           five minutes for your review.

Your summarizations have become the aost important

part of the printed Transactions and " am ileased to say
that a -reat
uay people have stayed for the closing hours of the Conference
merely
e"-cause of the summarization. Some of the fellow,%Ts seem
to think that
this revieiw should be given earlier but we are of the op)inion
that it
provi(des the apn-ropriate climax for these important Conferences.

' e are going- to have a large attendance at
the forth-
cominc international iaeeting and I do not believe that there
will be
any premaature departures. Liost of the people wll stay to the
end
since they are planning to relax a bit in the sunny south after
the
           meetings adjourn.

!e do vant you to 1'mow that your continued
