1. Approval of annual reports. 
2. Meeting of the nzeoutive Committee. 
 
       President Aikman and Messrs. Dreyer, Qri&s, Oosting, Met- 
    ealf and Redfield present. 
       The following reeommendations to the Society were approved: 
       1. That the annual business meeting be changed to Sunday, 
       7 p.m., Parlor B. 
 
 
2. That the Society continue to support the Union of Bio- 
logical Societies, and that the president appoint a So     tee, 
including W. A. Dayton, Union Representative, and H. A. 
Gleason, N. R. C. Representative, to work with the National 
Research Council for developing the proposed Institute of 
Biologists. 
3. That the Soeiety accept the invitation to Join the Natural 
Resources Council of America and that a contribution of $50. 
per year by made to cover mailin costs of Its news reports 
to the Study Committee. 
4. That the President appoint a representative to the Natural 
Resourcees Council who ord narily will be the Chairman of the 
Study Committee, (D 
 
 
       5. That the usual donation be made to the Naturalists for the 
       Biological Smoker.

         The instructions to the committee were I) to decide on 
    meeting or meetings, 2) to make arra    ent, 3) to cooperate 
    with 7. A. Small as representative of the Torrey Botanical. Cub. 
4. The new constitution was adopted. It is to be printed wiJth a 
    new directory of members in the Bulletin this year. 
 
 
It was moved and seconded that four Council members requir4l by 
the new constitution be appointed for 1947 by the retiring 
President.
