desires to me a gant of funds to the University of Wisconsin for the 
 
contimiation until August 31, 1949, of a rese"ch fellwship, established

 
September 1, 1947, for a study of ring-neek pheasant populations in a limited

 
geagra,,tic area. 
 
     For this purpse, it it mutuaall agrood by Wildlife Management Institute

 
and the University of Wisconsin as followst 
 
     (1) Wildlife Management Institute agrees to place at the disposal of
the 
 
bgents of the University the sun of $3,860, the same to be paid In quarterly

 
installments of $965 each, the first on or before September 1, 1948 the second

 
on or before Deember 1, 194, the third on or before March 1, 1949, and the

 
fourth on or before June 1, 194. Vouchers are to be made payable to the 
 
University of Wisconsin, and are to be sent by the donor to the Administration

 
Office, Aricultural Experiment Station. 
 
     The University of Wisconsin will keep this fund separate and engage
a 
 
competent research fellow to be assigned to this study. This fellow vill
be 
 
on the same basis as the regular University fellows and scholars in regPard
to 
 
all fees, both registration and laboratory. The balance not needed for the

 
payment of the salary of the fellow will be used to pWy labor, purohase supplies,

 
and to defray other necessary costs in connection with the study, including

 
travel expenses. Detailed plans for the conduct of this research have already

 
been agreed to. 
 
      (2) The University will fUrnis office, laboratory and other facilities

 
and euipment as are required for the carrying out of tiir study insofar as

 
the facilities of the University will permit.
