passed the House and Is now before the Senate. 
 
          A     other things, this bill authorises tIe Soil 
ho sion Seice to cooperate with univeities in erosion research. 
I a peronally interested in starttin   such research in the 
University of Wisconsin, and hope that this provision of the 
empsey Bili will be retained. 
 
          Me Uiversity now has a faculty c      ttee walki plans 
for erosion research and trainin of erosion eierts. Te Com- 
mittee will shortly publish a report, 
 
           I have not omied the other provisions of the 
Dsapsey B2i11 ad =m expessing no opinion on them, exept the 
general idea of the traner to Agriculturwe, wich I heartily 
approve.
