    The nresent schedule of nrojeote, all of which are to be 
continued, include (1) oomnosto and maintenance of soil fertility 
in nurserios, (2) rate of growth and quality of asnen and other 
nulnwood mnecies on different soils, and (3) benefits from use 
of foront leMumes in nurseries and nlantations. 
    It is recommended that the following additional research 
,wojectr be started: (1) improvement in cuality of nursery stock 
nroduced  (2) restoration of fertility in depleted far:. woodlot 
soil, (3$ ground trater table in relation to tree rrofoth and 
forest practices, and (4) deternination of quality of forest seed 
of different origins. 
    To effect this enlarged nrogran, aVlitional nornanent ,nd
