  • OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - 5703; When the Warsaw was built in 1871 she replaced the Thomas McRoberts in service. On March 23, 1880 she caught fire midstream and was beached on an island where all passengers and crew were safely removed. Repairs were made at the P.S. Davidson Yard at La Crosse and she was back in operation in 50 days
