- A large crowd participates in the Golden Jubilee celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of New Glarus, Wisconsin. Members of a marching band play while men carry the flags of the United States and Switzerland. A livery stable can be seen on the left, and the white stone tower of the Swiss Reformed Church is in the background on the right.
