Summary

• This fabric was designed to commemorate the 2015 World Teacher’s Day. The green background is etched with rings in navy blue and white framing four repeating motifs: a teacher writing on a board, students seated in class, a briefcase, and the fabrics text. The fabric has a yellow bottom border with more circular motifs including the teacher writing on a blackboard, a box of chalk, a box of pencils, and a pile of books. Not pictured, the item notes that it was “Fabriqué au Cameroun, vente en CEMAC” or "Made in Cameroon, sold in CEMAC". This signifies that the product was manufactured in Cameroon and intended for sale in the countries of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) which includes others like Gabon, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic, and Chad. It expresses a mechanism for the free movement of goods within this economic zone.
