The few additional species, which I am enabled to insert by means of Sir George Mackenzie’s and Mr. Paulsen’s collections and my own researches, are distinguished by being printed in italics. In some instances, where I have, in the course of my journal, had occasion to notice any new plant or any peculiarity belonging to those that are already known, I have referred to the page where it is mentioned.
