• A pillbox hat in magenta velvet formed with six folded vertical layers of velvet attached to a circle of grosgrain ribbon and starched lace. The open crown is covered with magenta netting and a small flat circle of the magenta velvet in the center. There are two combs on the underside for fastening to hair. the label reads, "Evelyn Varon Exclusive."
