Portion of what was likely the upper register of a relief with panels below. This section is bordered at the bottom by a band of overlapping lanceolate leaves and at the top with a molding too damaged to discern the decoration. The register depicts a hermitage scene with an ascetic seated in front of a hut and a standing figure in front of him, another standing figure greeting a seated figure separated by a tree from yet another standing figure at the edge. Typically, the lower register would contain scenes from the life of the Buddha though here only the briefest remnants of further carving can be detected. There is one nail hole between the pair of figures at the center of the relief.
