Fridolin Streiff (dark vest) and Ulrich Kubly (white shirt) view the debris resulting from a cannon explosion. One of two cannons that were shipped to New Glarus, Wisconsin, in 1900, this cannon exploded near Railroad Street in New Glarus during a ceremonial firing on the Fourth of July. The year is believed to be 1912. The other cannon is now on display at the Swiss Historical Village museum in New Glarus.
