OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - T2706; Built as a flood relief boat for the U.S. Coast Guard. She was a sister boat to the Kankakee. In 1925 the Yocona was partially destroyed by fire and in April 1926 was sold to Patton-Tully Transportation. She did a lot of work for Standard Oil of Louisiana, towing from Baton Rouge to Nashville, Tennessee. In April 1938 when downbound with four empties, she sank near Lock C at Eddyville, Kentucky on the Cumberland River. She was repaired at Paducah. She sank again near the same location in July 1939.
