Two Nyaheun boys are drinking rice wine ("lao hai") inside a Nyaheun home in the Nyaheun village of Nam Leng (XB 7248) in Attapu Province. To the right and in back of the boys are additional jars used for making and fermenting the wine. Households often had several jars; the more jars in the household, the wealthier the family was considered to be.
