Digitized collection of official British government files and correspondence related to the Cabinet of Harold Macmillan, the Prime Minister of the British Government from 1957 to 1963. The collection has complete coverage of Cabinet conclusions (minutes) and memoranda of Harold Macmillan’s government, plus selected minutes and memoranda of policy committees. The Cabinet conclusions consist of summaries of all discussions in Cabinet and a note of decisions reached. Files from the Prime Minister's Private Office are also included. The documents in the collection cover Britain's relationship with the EEC, Anglo-American ties, the Cold War, decolonization, and issues of public and political morality particularly in the UK.
