Summary

  • Series of four documentaries explores why particular works or forms of art became (and some remain) controversial, gives points of view on the effects of the arts on individuals and on society, and addresses censorship, and education. Each also is a self-contained documentary that analyzes the particular form or work and presents the cultural milieu in which it was created.
