Summary

  • Set in 1866 on the eve of Japan's Meiji Restoration. The lower classes are manipulated by the samurai class until a revolutionary frenzy is generated by the lower classes dancing in the streets and chanting "Ējanai ka!" (literally "What the hell?" or "Why not?").
