Beginning with newspaper clippings from the Franco-Prussian War (1870/71) and World War I, the collection contains handbills from the Nov. Revolution of 1918 and the Kapp Putsch of 1920. There is also a significant amount of propaganda material from the time of the Third Reich (1933/45) including agriculture, labor, youth, German women, and items pertaining to World War II. Of particular interest are some books on the SS including a yearbook listing members and their ranks. The postwar items include pamphlets on European integration and why Germany should be part of a European system as well as anti-Communist propaganda. There are also pamphlets on keeping East Prussia and Silesia German in addition to items protesting German expulsion from these areas.
