Tractatus de animalibus and Tractatus de urinis have special title pages.
Commonly attributed to Johannes (or Joannes) de Cuba (i.e. Johann Wonnecke or Dronnecke of Kaub). First published by Jacob Meydenbach, Mainz, 1491. A different work from the German Hortus sanitatis [minor], often known as Gart der Gesundheit, first published by P. Schoeffer, Mainz, 1485, and from the Herbarius of 1484, in which Johannes de Cuba's work was at best slight. Cf. Karl Becher, A catalog of early herbals, no. 34; also L.
