Silent film made by Leslie Dietz in the summer of 1916 documenting everyday life in the Wisconsin National Guard while mustering to protect the United States/Mexican border. This is followed by a dramatization featuring Myra Dietz with some "Mexicans" kidnapping Anglos followed by their escape. And lastly is followed by a scene with Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty along with a nurse and a soldier.

- Marshfield Times, September 13, 1916, ad, "Leslie Dietz presents our boy[sic] to the front! The Entire Wisconsin National Guard Mobilized at Camp Douglas showing their arrival, entraining, making camp, everyday life of soldiers in which company A and Band take a prominent part."
- Stevens Point Daily Journal, October 11, 1916, ad "Thursday only; Leslie Dietz presents Wisconsin National Guard at Camp Douglas and the boys in blue on the Mexican Border featuring Myra Dietz." In small print the ad concludes, "Only authentic motion picture produced utilizing the entire National Guard."
- Forms part of the John F. Deitz and family papers.
- The Wisconsin National Guard entered World War I as part of the 32nd Infantry Division, better known as the Red Arrow Division, in 1917.
- Leslie Dietz and Myra Dietz were the son and daughter of John Deitz "Defender of Cameron Dam." The family, after John, changed spelling of their surname to Dietz. Leslie Dietz died in an automobile/train accident in 1937.
