Photographs related to the traveling trailer museum of the State Historical Society of Wisconsin, called the Historymobile, 1954-1966, and transparencies related to the 1960 dedication of a new Historymobile exhibit. Photographs include images of exteriors and interiors of the trailer. Transparencies are of the April 23, 1960, dedication ceremonies on the plaza of Memorial Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The slides show speakers, a flag-raising, visitors entering the vehicle, and Governor Gaylord Nelson signing autographs. Photographs of the Bicentennial Historymobile exhibit, "New World, New Nation, New State," 1975-1976, include views of visitors, close-ups of the exhibit, and exterior views of the modified mobile home which is the traveling museum.
