Summary

  • Administrative and program records of the World Affairs Council of Milwaukee, a non-profit, non-partisan organization established to stimulate interest in international issues and provide a forum for obtaining information about foreign affairs and for exchanging opinions with policy makers. Included is correspondence, program flyers and brochures, program planning materials, Council Courier newsletters, minutes of board and committee meetings, mailing and membership lists, press releases and clippings, biographical information on speakers, and other papers.
  • The photographs show speakers at the Third Annual Institute on U.S. Foreign Policy, 1959, including Eleanor Lansing Dulles, Paul Henry Nitze, Michael Petrovich, Edward Kmiecik, and David Beckwith.
