Summary

  • Records relating to the settlement of deceased individuals' estates including inventories of real and personal property; reports and accounts of administrators or executors; statements of claims against estates; resale of real and/or personal property; warrants; contracts; sworn testimony; and similar records. There are a few guardianship of minor heir cases mixed in with the estate case files.
  • The processed portion of this series is summarized above, dates 1886-1921, and is described in the register. There are additional accessions which date 1921-1937 and are described below.

  • The processed portion of this series is available only on microfilm; copies may be purchased with the written consent of the originating office from the Genealogical Society of Utah.
  • This microfilm consists of service copies of film produced by the Genealogical Society of Utah, 1992 and 2001.
  • Originals were discarded after microfilming.
