Manuscript copy for an edition of Simṭ al-Laʻālī -- a commentary by Abū ʿUbayd al-Bakrī (d.1094) on the Amālī, a philological treatise by Abū ʿAlī al-Qālī (d.967), and its supplement (dhayl) -- in three parts, with indexes, preface, and critical apparatus provided by the editor, al-ʻAllāmah ʻAbd al-ʻAzīz al-Maymanī al-Rājkūtī (1888-1978). The manuscript is in the hand of the editor and presumably was the basis for the 1935-1936 Cairo edition.

- Origin: As appears in the editor's colophon at the conclusion of the third mujallad (v.2 p.133), transcription commenced at the beginning of Rajab 1349 (November 1930) and completed mid-Shawwāl 1349 (4 March 1931). A colophon in the section list errata correction and discrepancies with other manuscripts and imprints indicates that the collation was completed at the beginning of Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1349 (March 1931) in Aligarh. The editor's preface at the opening of the first volume (p.21) is dated 8 Shaʻbān 1354 (5 November 1935) in Cairo.
