Frontline traces John O'Neill's growing awareness of the threat posed by the emerging Al Qaeda terrorist network. His pursuit of Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda helped yield much of the information the United States needed about pending attacks. Yet O'Neill was no longer with the FBI on that fateful day: Forced out of the job he loved, he had taken a job as director of security at the World Trade Center. He died there when the buildings collapsed.
