Electronic reproduction of Mass Observation wartime material concerning dogs. The material covers dog organisations, public attitudes towards dogs, problems of looking after dogs in air raids, food difficulties, pet food, pet accessories and pet shops. It includes surveys of dog owners and non-owners, and consultation with organisations and professional breeders. The main survey (1941) was carried out in various areas of London and Oxford.
