Diary of Orvetta Andrade of San Francisco who was a professional dancer in the 1930s and traveled with a show called "Jazzmania of 1934" through cities in New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia. The diary begins on January 1, 1934 and has daily entries until April 7, 1934 when the group disbands and Orvetta goes home to San Francisco. The diary also includes expenses, recipes, names and addresses, dance steps, and what appears to be a play entitled "Trials and Tribulations of an Apt. House Mgr." There are two entries in August of 1935 (8th and 31st) when she marries Gilman Rankin of Los Angeles.
