Features montage footage of the street, the May 1969 block party, demonstrations, rioting, arrests, and the Mifflin Street Co-op. Paul Soglin, mayor of Madison (1973-1979), talks about the social and political history of the area. Some of the footage has been manipulated, under- or over-exposed, or is out of focus.
