Summary

  • Photographs of Little Norway, an 1850s-era Norwegian pioneer farmstead established as a historic site and located near Blue Mounds, Wisconsin. Those in PH 414 were made by photographer John Wade and by the Wisconsin Conservation Department in 1945; the images show log houses and structures of traditional Norwegian design, interiors, scenic views, and a wagon frame with wood wheels. Those in PH 2536 are commercial postcards produced for Little Norway and undated snapshots of building exteriors.
