Papers of a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, Goldsmith was stationed in the Aleutian Islands before being sent to England where he flew more than 30 bombing missions in 1944. The collection includes letters Goldsmith wrote to his family, a war diary describing his bombing missions over Europe, a pocket world atlas detailing flight plans, photocopied news clippings, and photographs.
