Papers concerning the historical interests of Gardner P. Stickney, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, including letters from Chrysostom Verwyst, lectures on figures of the American Revolution, clipped articles on Wisconsin's industries, and notes on Nicholas Perrot and on Wisconsin Indians and their languages; and a 1943 letter from Mrs. Stickney to A. W. Schorger about her husband's interest in birdwatching. The photograph portion of the collection includes images of Stickney and friends at a log cabin and views of the surrounding landscape, probably in Wisconsin, ca. 1900.
