Miscellaneous legal records of the department. Included is an interpretation of the Consumer Credit Division compiled in 1964 and reviewed in 1969, a 1992 exchange with the attorney general concerning regulation of ATM and banking enterprises on tribal lands, a compilation of brief legal opinions of the department prepared in 1941, and a file on a 1992 investigation of alleged deception concerning the Marshall Field's credit card protection program. Legal interpretations and opinions by the agency's legal counsel are also scheduled to come to the State Archives to be added to these miscellaneous items.
