Summary

  • Daybook accounts of claims from civilians for boarding volunteers, giving date of entry, name of claimant, inclusive dates of boarding, military unit boarded, order number, and amount of claim; journal listing boarding bills audited by the Quartermaster General and paid by the Paymaster General, giving much the same information as the daybook; and ledger listing the account of each military unit and giving the date of entry, claimant, order number, journal page number, and amount of claim.
