Summary

  • The album consists of small black and white snapshots mounted with corners on black paper, recording a road trip to Gatlinburg by a young woman and her friends, Mary, M.J, and Jeff. The creator is only identified by first name, Vivian, in the first photograph. All photographs are captioned, identifying places and people, and include brief comments. There are quite a few pictures of the young women and of young men they met. Also included is a picture of their car. They stayed at the Riverside Hotel in Gatlinburg.

  • Album used is a cloth-covered yellow leaf-patterned album with black embroidered title "Gatlinburg Tenn." with 1943 penciled on. Edges are overstiched in black.
