  • In his four July/August 2007 interviews with Troy Reeves, Jack Mitchell detailed his thoughts and memories of his time at UW--Madison. Mitchell spoke of the time period of the 1940s through 2007 and on the follow topics: National Public Radio, All Things Considered, Wisconsin Public Radio, and the UW--Madison Journalism School. Mitchell also offered his opinions on how Madison and UW--Madison has changed between the 1970s and today. Mitchell also discuss his pre-UW--Madison career, including one year in Madison as a reporter for WHA-AM, his childhood, undergraduate work, and radio gigs in Michigan, and his one-year fellowship at the British Broadcasting Corporation. This interview was conducted for inclusion into the UW--Madison Oral History Program.
